U.S. Nationwide — When police officers responded to a disturbance call at a home in Tremonton, Utah, on Sunday, a man there immediately started shooting at them. Two officers were killed, a sheriff’s deputy was wounded and a police dog was also hospitalized with injuries.
It was an ambush.
Mayor Lyle Holmgren said the suspect’s “intention was to cause harm to as many police officers and public servants as possible.”
