The former Humansville police chief is suing the city for breaching his contract and withholding earned wages.
Ryan Snow was hired at the end of 2023 to serve as the police chief of the small town, which in the past year has become the stage for several investigations and lawsuits. City leaders voted in closed session to dissolve the police department at the end of July, effectively firing Snow. Now, the former chief is claiming the termination was unlawful and the city still owes him money.
